My suggestion to the Chinese Christians.

I am in a suggesting mood tonight and direct my attention to the Chinese.
Speaking to the Christians among them: become Gentile Christians and then make a deal with the government to form Christian communes and ask for their help in organizing and controlling, but with you always of course independent and authoritarian. And get Christians into the government and keep them from corruption.
This will handle the problem of the 30 million boys and not one girl. As Gentile Christian you Chinese will accept the miracle of God called the homosexual and bisexual (and perhaps we are all bisexual), and show the way for the Chinese to be communist and at the same time efficient and extremely rational, e.g., the utilization of the bisexual and homosexual for the good of all. Excess boys may no longer be excess, but happy and without kids and without abortions.
So the Chinese government will have the honor of announcing the fact of a happy communism, and may be shamed in having to admit that it took the Christians to do this, to finish this. To admit that materialism does not work, but spirit will (if unfettered). So communism will work, but only something like Christian communism.
The trick of evangelizing in China, I think, will lie in the claim that the Christians have for the common rationality of humanity, and where we can follow Kant and show that the Christian religion is the universal (by acclamation) religion (though perhaps shorn of some of its symbols, e.g., conscience free of creeds and emphasis on the common, kindred spirit), namely “the only moral religion in recorded historyâ€. In other words, given the condition of man 2000 years ago would you be surprised to find a infinite being, being limited by the condition of his own creation, speaking to humans in the sort of language which is attributable to Jesus, total implementation of the moral in the supreme code of conduct according to the law of universal love, and making it simple and clear. This is exactly what you would expect in Kant’s world (save some of the details), and it is exactly what Christianity can provide via the reconstitution of the Gentile Christian made possible by Jesus and presented universally by Paul. So join in and help us get this world straightened out with energetic and efficient and productive communism.
It is natural for the church to stir up zeal for doing the right thing, the good thing, the loving thing. Being honest. Doing one’s share. Helping others, Correcting others. Loving others. The government could use that. For the common good of the Chinese.
I really don’t think American can pull this off, and so it may be up to the Chinese, and especially the Christians and Communists among them, to show the way out of the limitations and constraints of capitalism.
